A girl dreams of getting married, having a family and living happily ever after. Kimberly had all those dreams. It was just a matter of finding the man to share those life experiences. Kimberly might say it took a bit longer than she would have planned, but she would also say, Kyle was well worth the wait. She might call him her knight and shining armor or the guy who stole her heart. Either one fits him to a tee. One thing is for sure their wedding was a dream come true.

Kimberly’s love language is gift giving. She gave Kyle heartfelt cuff links as a wedding gift (above). For their first touch prior to the ceremony, (above) they exchanged notes and wedding gifts. Kevin Paul suggested the Groom kiss the Bride’s hand before departing. Kevin is a master at photography and always a pleasure to work with on weddings. Kimberly’s Bridal bouquet (above) from New Leaf Florist was just beautiful. New Leaf has such a way with flowers (below), not only are they beautiful, but they always have a way of making the room smell amazing.

Kimberly & Kyle, may this only be the beginning of many dreams coming true for the two of you as journey together along life’s path of romance and marriage. ~ Mark + Trisha

All About Family | Katie + Nick

There are so many things I could share about Katie & Nick’s wedding weekend celebration that was truly all about family. Both of their families, bleed OSU orange in a BIG way! Did we mention everyone, (except us) wore OSU orange for the rehearsal dinner. We didn’t get that memo. At their rehearsal dinner, they shared their story of how they met while at OSU and since we caught it on film, we just had to work it into their Wedding Day Edit. Click play to catch a glimpse of Nick & Katie’s memorable wedding day!

Once Katie got engaged and began to plan her wedding, she had a wedding wish… Yes, she wanted a beautiful wedding gown and it had to be dancing friendly for their surprise first dance. She also wanted a sparkly pair of wedding shoes by Jimmy Choo. And sparkle they did!

But her greatest wedding wish, was that she and Nick’s family could travel from near and far to share in their wedding day. You see only Katie’s parents lived in OKC, everyone else would be traveling to OKC to attend their nuptials. So you might say OKC Destination Wedding. They had shared with us the importance of family and how the marriages of their parents and grandparents were such an inspiration to them. Katie got her wedding wish. Because their beloved family and friends came from near and far to share in their wedding celebration filled with happy tears, a few surprises, and lots of dancing.

Katie & Nick, you are off to a great start and oh, they places you will go. We can’t wait to see. May you two enjoy dancing through life as Mr. & Mrs. as much as you enjoyed your surprise first dance!

There will be good times and a few bumps along the way but one day may your marriage be the inspiration to your children and grandchildren of what it looks like to be married for a lifetime as all those in your family have done for you. Hugs to you both! ~Mark + Trisha

Fun, Family & Love | Jasmine + Brian

Jasmine & Brian’s wedding day was filled fun, family and a lot of love. Click play to view their Wedding Day Edit that left guests in awe at their downtown Tulsa reception.

DanielsWDEVonWeb

It isn’t often we do a wedding of someone we know. Or in Jasmine’s case, we have known her since she was a little girl. She was a spunky, outgoing little girl too who liked to sing. As she grew a little older, she liked to dance and that love of dance has definitely carried over into her adult years. She and Brian’s first dance was quite impressive and had wedding guests cheering, yes it will be a must share in the future. Jasmine also surprised her Groom with a barbershop quartet & herself singing Justin Timberlake’s Sexy Back let’s just say, he loved it!

Just a few special moments and pretty things to inspire…

Jasmine entered the church alone, her biological father is deceased. It was a sweet moment when the doors opened to see her their alone with her blusher in place. She was met part way down the aisle by her Mom and step Dad to give her away at the end of the aisle.
Trinity-Episcapol-Tulsa-Wedding HUGE florals lined the aisle of the church it was beautiful. Did I mention Jasmine’s Mom does floral and catering for weddings and events and she did a wonderful job pulling all this off while being Mother of the Bride. Emeline, I salute you.

Every napkin was embroider with the guest’s initials, such a nice personal touch.
Personalized-Napkins-Wedding-Cake
The cake made for a part of the reception decor and was displayed in the center of the dance floor for guests to swoon.

Jasmine & Brian it was such a joy to capture your wedding day filled with fun, lots of family, a whole lot of love and maybe a lil food & drink in there. May your love for fun, family and one another grow with each passing year. ~Mark + Trisha

There’s No Place Like Home | Sascha + Luke

Getting Married in the Country

For those who dream of an outdoor wedding in the country, Sascha & Luke’s elegant wedding nestled in a pecan grove on her family farm is for you. Sascha grew up riding horses in this picturesque pasture. So when it came to selecting the perfect location to host their wedding… why not this charming outdoor setting in the country. There is no place like your childhood home to make a life long commitment of marriage to the man you love.

Click play to be inspired by Sascha & Luke’s love, beauty and sincerity of heart. We loved their heartfelt wedding vows to one another.
Highlight

This outdoor country wedding truly gave the feel of a church wedding in the great outdoors. With the large barn doors for the entrance into the ceremony and the pews for seating, it brought the awe of a church to the tranquil pecan grove. Sascha’s arrival in a horse drawn carriage was a fairy-tale moment, she looked like a princess as you she arrived to walk the aisle on the arm of her Father. Luke’s Father officiated the ceremony, did we mention he likes to tell jokes? Check out one of his stories with a punch line below. We were touched by the sincerity of the toasts shared at the reception and the coming together of two very special families to create a new one. That’s what two becoming one is all about.

A great thought on marriage from Luke’s Dad to possibly make you smile and reflect on your marriage relationship.

We thought we would share a few images from some special moments we captured that pulled on our heartstrings. April shared a private moment with her parents on her wedding day after she had slipped into her wedding gown. Their reactions to seeing April in her gown left them all smiles to begin celebrating her wedding day.

April was so happy to be marrying the love of her life. Shehan was so nervous but also thrilled to have April at his side. They exchanged notes and the Groom presented his Bride with her Bridal bouquet with a sightless first touch. Tears were flowing freely for this beautiful moment and April’s expression when she first saw her bouquet was priceless.

There is something special about parent dances on a wedding day. It is a time set aside to honor your parents and also show them appreciation for all they have sown into your life. These images of April with her Father and Shehan with his Mother are reminder of the love shared with a Father and his daughter and a Mother and her son.

April & Shehan, may you make many more beautiful memories as Mr. & Mrs. and look back one day when you are maybe old and gray with a fondness in your heart of the beautiful moments you made on your wedding day and how you shared it with the ones you love and hold so dear. ~with a few tears, Mark + Trisha
