Devon Tower Wedding Day Edit | Rodney + Kristin

It isn’t often we have a couple who have known one another for twenty-five years. They dated a bit back then and then went their separate ways. But somehow their paths crossed again. Rodney had some concert tickets, invited Kristin to go. Well, let’s just say love has blossomed this time. Music concerts have played quite a role in their budding relationship, thus a proposal at a concert. Rodney on one knee asking Kristin to be his lifelong partner as they journey through life. And she said, “YES!” So where else better to seal the deal than at the Devon Tower, with their ceremony in the garden at sunset and the reception fifty stories up overlooking the lights of Oklahoma City.

Rodney and Kristin exchanged letters just before their special first look on the staircase in The Devon Tower rotunda on their wedding day. Truly a special moment.

Click play to view Kristin & Rodney’s Devon Tower Wedding Day Edit that had guests cheering at their reception.

The sun was just setting on this fall evening for this Devon Tower Wedding in the garden as Rodney & Kristin committed their lives to one another before family and friends. Rather than your typical Bridesmaids and Groomsmen, Kristin had her brother and two nephews stand up with her and Rodney had his two brothers and two nieces stand up with him. Making it very much a family affair.

Rodney & Kristin, what a fabulous Devon Tower Wedding! As you begin this adventure as Mr. & Mrs. Lipe, we wish you a lifetime of beautiful music together. May you always enjoy the journey! ~Mark + Trisha

Romantic Wedding Day Edit | Kelley + Garret

To have and to hold from this day forward… a romantic wedding day edit filled with love, laughter and the beginning of Kelley & Garret’s happily ever after.

Surrounded by family and friends, Kelley and Garret had a beautiful wedding day orchestrated by OKC Wedding Planner, Robyn Martin of the The Wedding Belle. The Gaillardia Country Club looked simply romantic adorned in gold, ivory and a touch of blush. Their romantic wedding day edit is filled with touching moments from throughout their wedding day, from Kelley’s first look with her Dad and Brother, she and Garret’s sightless first look and note exchange, to her walk down the aisle to meet the love of her life.

Click play to catch a glimpse of Kelley & Garret’s Romantic Wedding Day Edit.

Just a few things we loved about Kelley & Garret’s wedding day.
Something old something new, something borrowed… Kelley borrowed her Mother’s sixpence she wore in her shoe on her wedding day.

A wedding day is about joining two families to make a new one. Both Kelley and Garret come from strong families who have set a wonderful example for them to follow. It was so special to see the Bride’s family circle in prayer on their daughter’s wedding day one last time before Dad walked Kelley down the aisle.

Kelley & Garret, as you begin your happily ever after, may you cherish the memories you share together as husband and wife and always enjoy looking back on the day you became Mr. & Mrs. Gann. Here’s to building a long and happy marriage one day at a time! ~Mark + Trisha

Gaillardia Wedding Day Edit | Natasha + Shane

If you love exquisite weddings, you will enjoy Natasha & Shane’s Gaillardia Country Club wedding designed and planned by OKC Wedding planner, Robyn Martin of The Wedding Belle. Natasha incorporated her Persian heritage with a Sofreh Aghd and the traditional cake knife dance. It all made for a beautiful Gaillardia Wedding Day Edit.

Click play to catch a glimpse of Natasha & Shane’s Gaillardia Wedding Day Edit that had guests cheering at their reception.

Natasha looked like a princess as she graced the aisle on the arm of her Father to meet her handsome beau. While her long white gloves added a touch of class and grace to her wedding ensemble, her bolero gracing her neckline was her stunning touch of bling. Her bridal bouquet designed by Emerson Events was truly classic!

Bride's Entrance

We have known Natasha for quite some time and had the opportunity to work with her on several projects. She is a former pageant girl. Natasha now helps girls entering into the Miss Oklahoma pageant system as teens. Assisting them with hair and make up while also being their biggest cheerleader. Natasha loves her family and friends, has a great appreciation for beauty, fashion and giving back to the community. It was an honor to capture her luxurious Gaillardia wedding day. She has such a big and wonderful heart.

Stayed tuned for their wedding highlight, because Shane had his touch on their wedding too. Especially when the Star Wars storm troopers showed up quite often through out the wedding day, from his cake, ice sculpture and even a surprise appearance. Well, that happened right before we showed their Gaillardia Wedding Day Edit. Also check out their wedding hashtag #tohinzandtohold.

Romance Mystery Spoof | Anden + Brandon

The many faces of the Dateline Invesitgator, for this Dateline Romance Mystery telling how Anden & Brandon, grew up, met and fell in love to always stay together… and that’s no bull!

Dateline-Romance-Mystery-Spoof Investigator

If you love to watch Dateline Mysteries, click play to watch Anden & Brandon’s Dateline Romance Mystery spoof. Yes, this is a fun spoof! Anden’s Mom told her daughter, the sweet Bride to be, they were just going to play a simple growing up video for their rehearsal dinner. Well it was a little more than just a few growing up photos. Guests loved it. So much so they also played it at the wedding reception too. Hat’s off to Anden’s parents for pulling off this great surprise for the Bride and Groom.

Click play and share a laugh or two.

I must say the Bride’s parents took this so called “Growning Up Presentation” to a new level. The day we filmed this Anden’s parents told us they had thought they might record this on their iPhone. Somehow wedding planner, Camden Chitwood of Emerson Events suggested they might want to contact us for a little assistance. To give credit where credit is due, Anden’s Mom, Carla wrote the entire script. I must say, she has a way with words. And Anden’s Dad, Calvin was recruited to be the “Dateline Investigator” of this romance mystery. He did a great job on his first acting debut. Now, I cannot vouch that all of the story is true or maybe embellished a bit, that too shall remain a bit of a mystery.

Anden, how could you be so lucky to have such fun parents? I think your parents enjoyed making this special surprise for you and Brandon as much if not more than you enjoyed watching it. May your families enjoy watching your “Dateline Romance Mystery” laughing and reminiscing all these wonderful memories for many years to come! ~Mark + Trisha

OKC Wedding Day Edit | Rachel + Carson

It’s funny how we never tire of filming weddings. It is such a privilege to witness two becoming one in marriage. Rachel & Carson had a beautiful wedding day that began at Crossings surrounded by family and friends.

Every wedding has a first and this was the first wedding we ever saw all the guys crowd in front of a mirror to pose for a selfie. They said it was a wedding tradition they had to keep going. Rachel was all smiles before the ceremony. She and her Bridesmaids squeaked out some time to put a 500 piece puzzle together while getting ready. They said I had to film it. I recall hearing some cheers when it showed up in the Wedding Day Edit.

While Rachel and Carson chose not to see one another before Rachel walked the aisle to meet Carson, they did exchange notes with one another. Rachel eye’s did swell with a few tears after reading Carson’s note. Rachel’s smile never dimmed the entire day, it truly is something special about her. We loved Carson’s reaction to his Bride as the doors opened for her during the ceremony. He took some deep breaths as she and her Dad made their way down the aisle.

Carson’s Father had the honor of officiating their wedding ceremony adding a very personal touch to their wedding day. Rachel and Carson come from wonderful families and share a deep faith in God. May their faith continue to guide them throughout their lives as they journey as husband and wife.

Gaillardia Wedding Day Edit | Abby + Brian

Click play to share in Abby & Brian’s Gaillardia Wedding Day Edit shown at their reception!

When it is 90 plus degrees and the humidity is running high, we do a little happy dance when a Gaillardia Bride wants to get married indoors. I think the guests really enjoyed the cool comfort while celebrating indoors. We weren’t the only ones happy at Abby & Brian’s wedding. Abby & her Mom had a little surprise for everyone once the Minister pronounced Abby & Brian man and wife. The wall behind the couple opened with a gospel choir dressed in white robes singing “Happy”. With the sun rays beaming in through the windows behind the choir, they had an angelic glow about them. It was a great surprise and it definitely had everyone’s attention.

As guests sipped on cocktails following the ceremony, The Wedding Belle and her team of wedding pros flipped the Gaillardia ballroom from a ceremony setting to an elegant reception for dinner and dancing in record time. Check it out in the Wedding Day Edit, I promise they really do move just that fast.

A few of our favorite things from Abby & Brian’s Gaillardia Wedding

Abby’s lace gown and her bridesmaids gowns. Abby had a rememberance from her deceased Father sewn into her wedding gown close to her.

We loved her Bridal bouquet by Tony Foss Flowers. Abby is a cat lover, her cat cut out escort cards were just too cute!

WOW Wedding Day Edit | Ashley + Klint

Ashley & Klint’s wedding designed and planned by The Wedding Belle was a WOW Wedding! The setting, the décor, the floral, the acrylic dance floor over the pool, the cake suspended over the dance floor, and the exquisite dinner tent for this OKC wedding was amazingly beautiful.

We had to share just a few things their a WOW about this wedding.

The white orchids suspended on clear acrylic poles gave an illusion of a waterfall of orchids for the wedding ceremony on the floating dock.

Dinner was served in a tent lavished in sequin lines, natural centerpieces laced with orchids and floral chandeliers.

The cake was suspended to give the illusion it was floating over the acrylic dance floor over the pool. Yes, they were dancing over water.

Family Traditions | Emmalee + Ben

Groom Gives Bridal Bouquet

It was just a year ago to the day, we were capturing Emmalee and Ben’s engagement party. And now a year later, it is their wedding day. Their wedding day steeped in their heritage and family traditions designed and orchestrated by The Wedding Belle. They were both so excited to marry one another. Emmalee and Ben put so much thought into the details of their wedding day. While their love for one another shown through, it was their thoughtfulness and compassion for others that captured our hearts.

Click play to catch a glimpse of their Wedding Day Edit steeped in their family traditions shown at their reception.

Emmalee’s Dad could hardly wait to see his sweet daughter in her wedding gown. He had purchased her an heirloom to wear on her wedding day, a pearl bracelet. He was so excited to give it to her. As a child Emmalee’s Dad always sang the song Edelweiss to her. Well Edelweiss is also a very delicate flower. Emmalee asked The Fleuriste to make her Father a special boutonniere from Edelweiss. As she gave him the boutonniere, she shared the memory of him singing to her as a child. As she spoke the words, he said maybe we could dance to that this evening. And yes, Wade Tower sang it beautifully as they waltzed for their Father Daughter Dance to Eldelweiss.

Father of the Bride and Bride exchange gifts on daughter's wedding day

Mark was quick to share how Ben distributed his gifts to all ten of his Groomsmen and shared something special about each one of them in the Groom’s room. But the single yellow rose in every floral arrangement caught our eye and had us asking why the single yellow rose. It was in honor of Ben’s late Father, who always included a rose in every bouquet of flowers he had given to Ben’s Mother. He must have been smiling from heaven at Ben’s thoughtfulness to carry on his tradition on his wedding day with the single yellow rose in his memory.

Ben you are the handsome prince, who married your one and only princess, Emmalee. May your love and thoughtfulness grow and flourish with each passing year as you & Emmalee carry on your family traditions and values. We hope the two of you will also add a few new family traditions as well. Wishing you nothing but lots of love and kisses! ~Mark + Trisha

Outdoor or Indoor Wedding | Brooke + Josh

Winter Creek Country Club Wedding

Storms were brewing in the distance, so it was a big wedding decision as to whether to have an outdoor or indoor wedding ceremony on this Oklahoma May Wedding day. Yes, they had a back up plan to move inside the Winter Creek Country Club, but the rain held off and the ceremony was held outdoors on the green. Just a side note, ALWAYS have a back up plan for an outdoor wedding. Oh, I could tell you some stories. Just have a back up plan :-)

Josh was a bit nervous waiting to see his Bride in her gown for their first look on their wedding day, but it was all smiles once she came to meet him. Brooke and Josh met on a blind date set up by their siblings. Somehow, I don’t think their siblings will let them forget that bit of their story.

Outdoor Ceremony Indoor Reception

Well the storm did roll in later that evening and the DJ, BTP Productions kept everyone up to date on the weather. He encouraged everyone to stay and enjoy the party as sirens were going off in their hometown just some fifteen miles west of the country club. It was a great night to capture some lighting shots. And yes, there was a take cover plan too! We are oh, so thankful we didn’t have to use the take cover plan.

Despite the drama with the weather, Brooke & Josh enjoyed their wedding day. Brooke was always smiling and she can find laughter in any situation. I have to think that is one of things Josh loves about her. Click play to catch a glimpse of Brooke and Josh’s Wedding Day Edit guests enjoyed at their reception.

We have to share the toasts of the Matron of Honor, the Bride’s sister and the Best Man, the Groom’s brother. The Bride’s sister sang her toast, mermaid style. The Groom’s brother, well he Googled his toast. For those looking for ideas for wedding toasts, both were GREAT! Hit play and enjoy!

Brooke and Josh, thank you for allowing us to share in your special wedding day. May your love for one another continue to grow stronger with each passing year. May you also leave your children with the legacy your parents and grandparents have left you, a lifelong marriage! ~All Our Best, Mark + Trisha

Caitlin + Phillip Ring their Wedding Bell

With storms brewing in Oklahoma this past weekend, Caitlin and Philip opted to move their wedding ceremony indoors. Emerson Events did a beautiful job of making everything perfect for their indoor wedding celebration at the Hall of Mirrors. Even down to having a plan if a tornado began to circle. Thankfully, the tornado didn’t come our way.

Hall of Mirrors Wedding Caitlin and Phillip

Click play to experience Caitlin and Phillip’s Wedding Day Edit shown at their reception. And to think, I had to convince her she wanted a Wedding Day Edit. I told her she would thank me later. We both got big hugs from her after this played.

Just a few of things we loved about Caitlin & Phillip’s wedding…

The Bag Pipe band, The Highlanders of Oklahoma, was a definite wow for the ceremony music. There was a bit of concern, they might be too loud when we moved indoors, but it was perfect. The crowd loved them.

Bag Pipe Band The Highlanders of Oklahoma

Caitlin and Phillip put their personal touch on their wedding day blending both Caitlin’s Irish and Phillip’s Persian cultures. They celebrated their nuptials with both a Persian and a Christian wedding ceremony. The Wedding Bell is a traditional wedding gift for Irish couples. The chime of the bell is said to keep evil spirits away. The couple rang the bell together after reciting their vows. As they venture into married life, they are to ring the bell if they argue and it will remind them of their wedding vows.

Did we mention the cake by Amy Cakes adorned in gold was also another WOW!

Wedding Cake Trimmed in Gold by Amy Cakes Norman, OK

Lastly, how Caitlin & Phillip chose to include their Grandparents within your wedding ceremony, says a lot about how they honor and cherish their families. Caitlin’s Grandmother read I Corinthians 13, while Phillip’s Grandfather prayed a prayer of blessing over them in Spanish.

Honoring Grandparents at your wedding

Caitlin and Phillip, while it stormed outside, you had an amazing celebration of love inside. May you continue to celebrate your love for one another and ring your wedding bell rain or shine for a lifetime. ~Mark + Trisha
