1940′s Supper Club Wedding

1940's-Supper-Club-Wedding

Fred & Angie love ballroom dancing, so a 1940′s Supper Club wedding was the perfect fit for this dancing duo. They even hosted their wedding at a local dance studio beautifully transformed by Kindt Events with a little help from Tony Foss Flowers, Marianne’s Rentals, Innovative Event Solutions and Ideas In Ice. They even had girls toting these cute trays of candy cigarettes and chocolate cigars. Guests arrived dressed for this 1940′s occasion walking the red carpet entrance to pose for a commemorative photo with all the fun props to boot.

After some cocktails and h’orderves, Fred awaited Angie on the dance floor, where he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him, to which she replied, “I will.” Following their short and sweet ceremony, guests enjoyed dinner and dancing the night away to the tunes of the Kip Curtis Band. It was a great evening and everyone enjoyed viewing this Wedding Day Film to cap off this memorable occasion. Slip your dancing shoes on and take a peek at this fun 1940′s themed Wedding Day Edit.

Gaillardia Wedding Highlight | Tabitha + Dustin

Gaillardia-Wedding-Dustin-Tabitha

Grab a tissue before you click play on Tabitha & Dustin’s Gailladia Wedding Highlight. To hear Tabitha’s Uncle read a letter written to this sweet Bride by her Mother before her death is so very touching. Raindrops were falling until it was time for the Bride to walk down the aisle and then the skies all cleared.

Tabitha and Dustin had so many special touches to their beautiful wedding day. Tabitha wore a ring given to her Mother by her parents, Dustin’s soccer cake was one of his highlights for sure, and Tabitha surprised Dustin by singing a song to him at the reception.

Most importantly, these two very special people committed their lives to one another to begin their adventure as Mr. & Mrs. We wish them a lifetime of love and commitment to one another! ~ Mark + Trisha

Vows with Kids | Seth + Tricia

Take a peek at this oh so fun wedding day film we shared at their reception at the Magnolia Moon in the historic Guthrie, OK. I think this Bride & Groom may have been upstaged by their cute kids. Either way, it was a lot of fun capturing the blending of these two families into one!

2013 Linen Runway Show

2013-Linen-Runway-Show

Oh the fun things we get to do. Three years ago Marianne’s Rentals for Special Events, an OKC Party Rental company, came up with this clever idea for showcasing their latest table linens. Turn them into evening gowns and showcase them in a live runway show. There is one caveat, the gowns are not sown. They are pinned, tucked, & wrapped onto the runway models. It truly is an inspiration in color and texture!

Each year the Linen Runway Show has continued to grow and become quite the event. This year was no exception with Marianne’s Tabletops displayed in the cocktail area with beautiful florals from The Fleuriste, lighting from Innovative Event Solutions, paper from Paper8, coordination from OKC Perfect Wedding Guide, cupcakes from Gigi’s Cupcakes and h’orderves from Riverwind Hotel & Cassino.

This year the models were pageant winners in both the Miss America, Miss, Teen & Mrs. USA pageants from Oklahoma and four surrounding states. Styling for all the runway models was under the direction of Malorie Avaline Hair & Make Up. Little did these lovely pageant winners know they were competing for the crown of Miss Oklahoma Tabletop! And yes, we had a winner!

Marianne’s Rentals also teamed up with the Oklahoma Children’s Miracle Network Hospital as all the proceeds from the event were donated to this local charity. The absolute highlight of the evening was when each Miracle Child took a walk down the runway escorted by one of the pageant winners. To see the joy and excitement in their faces, moved us to tears.

Be inspired for your next event as you click play to preview Marianne’s 2013 collection of specialty linens! Linens so FABULOUS, you’ll want to WEAR them!
