The McGranahan Barn was the perfect setting for Taylor and Jackson’s vintage inspired wedding day. Jackson is a country boy at heart who found himself a beautiful girl who loves to do life with him. They both come from great families. There was a lot of love and anticipation in the air as Taylor and Jackson got ready on their wedding day. They choose to keep that first glimpse of one another for the walk down the aisle. Taylor looked amazing as she graced the aisle on her Father’s arm as Jackson ever so patiently waited to see his Bride. A big smile came across his face as he caught a glimpse of Taylor coming down the aisle.

There is something so special about weddings as two people surrounded themselves with their closest family and friends to commit their lives to one another. We loved this birds eye view of the wedding party during the ceremony at the McGranahan Barn.

Amy Ray Events did a wonderful job of orchestrating every detail of this charming country wedding. We loved the whimsical florals from Birdie Blooms. Taylor and Jackson’s custom cake topper was just about as cute as them feeding one another that first bite of wedding cake. Let’s just say, Jackson got the first bite of cake and might not live that one down for a while.

There are so many things I could share about Katie & Nick’s wedding weekend celebration that was truly all about family. Both of their families, bleed OSU orange in a BIG way! Did we mention everyone, (except us) wore OSU orange for the rehearsal dinner. We didn’t get that memo. At their rehearsal dinner, they shared their story of how they met while at OSU and since we caught it on film, we just had to work it into their Wedding Day Edit. Once Katie got engaged and began to plan her wedding, she had a wedding wish… Yes, she wanted a beautiful wedding gown and it had to be dancing friendly for their surprise first dance. She also wanted a sparkly pair of wedding shoes by Jimmy Choo. And sparkle they did!

But her greatest wedding wish, was that she and Nick’s family could travel from near and far to share in their wedding day. You see only Katie’s parents lived in OKC, everyone else would be traveling to OKC to attend their nuptials. So you might say OKC Destination Wedding. They had shared with us the importance of family and how the marriages of their parents and grandparents were such an inspiration to them. Katie got her wedding wish. Because their beloved family and friends came from near and far to share in their wedding celebration filled with happy tears, a few surprises, and lots of dancing.

Katie & Nick, you are off to a great start and oh, they places you will go. We can’t wait to see. May you two enjoy dancing through life as Mr. & Mrs. as much as you enjoyed your surprise first dance!

We thought we would share a few images from some special moments we captured that pulled on our heartstrings. April shared a private moment with her parents on her wedding day after she had slipped into her wedding gown. Their reactions to seeing April in her gown left them all smiles to begin celebrating her wedding day.

April was so happy to be marrying the love of her life. Shehan was so nervous but also thrilled to have April at his side. They exchanged notes and the Groom presented his Bride with her Bridal bouquet with a sightless first touch. Tears were flowing freely for this beautiful moment and April’s expression when she first saw her bouquet was priceless.

There is something special about parent dances on a wedding day. It is a time set aside to honor your parents and also show them appreciation for all they have sown into your life. These images of April with her Father and Shehan with his Mother are reminder of the love shared with a Father and his daughter and a Mother and her son.

April & Shehan, may you make many more beautiful memories as Mr. & Mrs. and look back one day when you are maybe old and gray with a fondness in your heart of the beautiful moments you made on your wedding day and how you shared it with the ones you love and hold so dear. ~with a few tears, Mark + Trisha

Yes, it was a room with a view, or should we say a rooftop room with a view for Amber and Prentice’s OKC wedding designed by The Wedding Belle. The rooftop was the perfect ceremony location with a gorgeous view of downtown OKC. Due to the size of the ceremony venue, they had to limit their guest list for the ceremony, but friends joined them for cocktails, dinner and dancing at their elegant Sheraton Atrium Ballroom reception in downtown OKC. Which made their Rooftop Wedding Day Edit, a great bonus for all the guests who could not get to attend the ceremony to catch a glimpse of their heartfelt wedding vows.

The Atrium Ballroom was glistening with silver metallics, a touch of gold and crystal trees. It was amazing. Gold chiavari hairs with silver bows accented with sequin broaches. The Wedding Belle never ceases to amaze us with exquisite wedding decor. The Bride and Groom had a sweetheart table facing their guests to take it all in.

While both the Bride and Groom shed a few happy tears throughout their wedding day, as they danced their first dance as husband and wife, they were in their happy place, in one another’s arms. May that always be a place of strength, peace and love throughout their marriage.

It isn’t often we have a couple who have known one another for twenty-five years. They dated a bit back then and then went their separate ways. But somehow their paths crossed again. Rodney had some concert tickets, invited Kristin to go. Well, let’s just say love has blossomed this time. Music concerts have played quite a role in their budding relationship, thus a proposal at a concert. Rodney on one knee asking Kristin to be his lifelong partner as they journey through life. And she said, “YES!” So where else better to seal the deal than at the Devon Tower, with their ceremony in the garden at sunset and the reception fifty stories up overlooking the lights of Oklahoma City.

Rodney and Kristin exchanged letters just before their special first look on the staircase in The Devon Tower rotunda on their wedding day. Truly a special moment.

The sun was just setting on this fall evening for this Devon Tower Wedding in the garden as Rodney & Kristin committed their lives to one another before family and friends. Rather than your typical Bridesmaids and Groomsmen, Kristin had her brother and two nephews stand up with her and Rodney had his two brothers and two nieces stand up with him. Making it very much a family affair.

Natasha looked like a princess as she graced the aisle on the arm of her Father to meet her handsome beau. While her long white gloves added a touch of class and grace to her wedding ensemble, her bolero gracing her neckline was her stunning touch of bling. Her bridal bouquet designed by Emerson Events was truly classic!

We have known Natasha for quite some time and had the opportunity to work with her on several projects. She is a former pageant girl. Natasha now helps girls entering into the Miss Oklahoma pageant system as teens. Assisting them with hair and make up while also being their biggest cheerleader. Natasha loves her family and friends, has a great appreciation for beauty, fashion and giving back to the community. It was an honor to capture her luxurious Gaillardia wedding day. She has such a big and wonderful heart.

Stayed tuned for their wedding highlight, because Shane had his touch on their wedding too. Especially when the Star Wars storm troopers showed up quite often through out the wedding day, from his cake, ice sculpture and even a surprise appearance.
