It’s funny how we never tire of filming weddings. It is such a privilege to witness two becoming one in marriage. Rachel & Carson had a beautiful wedding day that began at Crossings surrounded by family and friends.
Every wedding has a first and this was the first wedding we ever saw all the guys crowd in front of a mirror to pose for a selfie. They said it was a wedding tradition they had to keep going. Rachel was all smiles before the ceremony. She and her Bridesmaids squeaked out some time to put a 500 piece puzzle together while getting ready. They said I had to film it. I recall hearing some cheers when it showed up in the Wedding Day Edit.
While Rachel and Carson chose not to see one another before Rachel walked the aisle to meet Carson, they did exchange notes with one another. Rachel eye’s did swell with a few tears after reading Carson’s note. Rachel’s smile never dimmed the entire day, it truly is something special about her. We loved Carson’s reaction to his Bride as the doors opened for her during the ceremony. He took some deep breaths as she and her Dad made their way down the aisle.
Carson’s Father had the honor of officiating their wedding ceremony adding a very personal touch to their wedding day. Rachel and Carson come from wonderful families and share a deep faith in God. May their faith continue to guide them throughout their lives as they journey as husband and wife.
