Outdoor Romance | The Wedding Belle

Sharing some elegant wedding decor inspiration from Robyn Martin of The Wedding Belle at Coles Garden for her Brides of Oklahoma photo shoot. Robyn had so many elements to her shoot. From the outdoor ceremony, the charming cakes and catering, to the stunning tablescape Robyn’s flair for design was amazing.

We loved having a REAL Bride on this shoot to model her very own Lazaro wedding gown. She was awesome and looked fabulous! Click play to catch the beauty and romance of this outdoor wedding design!

Robyn gave us a little insight into the thoughts behind her design.

Theme: Outdoor Romance

Style: Traditional with a twist

Colors: Three shades of Blush & Gold

The Lazaro wedding gown inspired the color palette, style and the ambiance of the design. Inspiration also came from the challenge of how to use a serpentine table at a wedding as a guest table. This is four serpentine tables put together to form a circle which leaves a large opening in the center for an over-the-top centerpiece which seats 12!

Timeless & True Tabletop | Lasting Impressions

Tulsa Wedding Planner, Lynn Wheatley of Lasting Impressions chose the cozy, luxurious, and a bit eccentric Campbell Hotel, in Tulsa, for the setting of her Brides of Oklahoma Magazine Tabletop shoot. There were so many beautiful details to her shoot from the florals to the favors. Click play to be inspired by her design and vintage details.

Lynn gave us a little insight into the thoughts behind her design…

Inspiration: My brides love to show me what inspires them: sometimes they bring tear sheets from wedding magazines, sometimes their iPads are filled with images gleaned from boards and sometimes the bride arrives with her favorite items that are meaningful to her and will inspire the look and feel of the wedding. This bride filled an old suitcase with treasures she has collected, heirlooms she feels blessed to have inherited and items from her travels. It is an eclectic mix but an important insight. My job is to not only create the event she wants but to weave the couple’s love story throughout the wedding. That is the theme for my design this year.

Colors: Blush and Metallic: The softest pinks and the well-worn patina of metals complement one another. Think of rose gold that was so popular after WWII and then fast forward to 2013 when ALL metals are softer tones – bronze, gold, silver, pewter. We love them all.

Style-Theme: Vintage Organic.
