WOW Wedding Reception | Jasmine + Daniel

We had to share a bit of wedding reception inspiration. Jasmine and Brian went to great lengths to put their wedding reception over the top! Not only was the Skyloft beautiful, their Wedding guests enjoyed a few surprises throughout the evening. Jasmine surprised her Groom with a barbershop quartet performance of Justin Timberlake’s Sexy Back, taken from a Jimmy Fallon spoof. You have to watch to see the Groom’s response. It was priceless.

This Bride & Groom wanted to WOW their guests with a tango style first dance and it was a hit! Jasmine slipped into dancing dress to pull off this amazing first dance. Did we mention they both love to dance. The guests were cheering and we thought we were filming Dancing with the Stars. Click play, you won’t be disappointed.

Guests were also wowed by their Wedding Day Edit shown at their wedding reception. Popover and have a look for some more wedding inspiration.

The Skirvin Hilton was sparkling for Kristen & Aaron’s OKC Wedding. The ballroom was elegantly dressed in black, red along with some glamorous sparkle from Marianne’s Rentals for Special Events and sweet florals from Cole Dewey Designs. Mishelle Handy Cakes added to the elegance and bling with this exquisite wedding cake. Guests also enjoyed taking home a some sweet treats from 42nd Street Candy Co’s Candy Buffet.

Skirvin Hilton Wedding Reception

Kristen has an infectious smile and she was so happy to be marrying the love of her life. Aaron’s fraternity brothers made sure he got to do some crowd surfing at the reception. Dad’s toast was a highlight for all and we share a portion in this highlight. The entrance of the Bridal Party into the reception is a MUST SEE and was a crowd cheering moment during the Wedding Day Edit shown at the reception. All in all it was a great wedding we enjoyed capturing.

Disney Fairy Tale Wedding | Jason + Jennifer

Dreams really do come true…

Jennifer, a south Floridian, had dreamed of a Disney Wedding since she was a little girl. When she got engaged, there was no question in her mind, where she would marry Jason, but Walt Disney World.

We met Jennifer at a national video conference in 2009 when she was modeling for Panasonic. At that time Panasonic was using some of our wedding highlights to promote a new camera. So Jennifer had a front row seat to view our films in the Panasonic booth. She asked for our card and quickly replied, “Someday, when I find the one, I am going to have you come and film my wedding.” She even went home and told her friends and family, she was going to bring this couple from Oklahoma to film her wedding someday.(They said she had been talking about us filming her wedding for years, even before she had a boyfriend.)

Well some three years later, within a few days of her proposal, we received an email, saying she had “got the ring”, was getting married and wanted to know of our availability to travel to Orlando to film her dream Disney Wedding. Honestly, I had to think, who is this girl, who “got the ring?” After a phone call, I recalled the conversation and we were booking flights to Orlando.

It was a true fairy tale wedding. There are so many things I could share, but this story was pretty special. Jason & Jennifer exchanged letters before their ceremony at the Grand Floridian. There was a short, older cast member dressed as a butler who had worked there since Jennifer was a little girl. She had always told him, “one day you are going to help me on my wedding day.” He stayed late that day to assist her in to see her Groom.

Capturing this Fairy Tale Disney Wedding was a great experience, one we will never forget. While working at Disney was uber cool, more importantly were the memories we shared as two families united to make a new one. Jason & Jennifer, may your love continue to grow with each passing year and may all of your dreams come true! Thank You for letting us capture your wedding day! ~Mark + Trisha
