Sparkling OKC Wedding | Megann + Troy

Meinder’s Hall of Mirrors was sparkling for Megann & Troy’s OKC Wedding. Their wedding day began with some pampering as stylist & makeup artist, Malorie Avaline had Megann & her mom looking fabulous. Things got exciting when the big gold helium balloons arrived for the Bridesmaids to carry in lieu of flowers. Megann carried a silver and gold brooch bouquet by Hydrangea Floral rather than a traditional floral bouquet. Troy’s Mother presented him with a Hawaiian lei, as part of incorporating his Hawaiian heritage into the ceremony.

Glistening lights from Innovative Event Solutions made for a beautiful backdrop for the ceremony. A a little flower girl scatter gold glitter and another carried a sign…Here Comes the Bride. Following cocktails & photos, it was time to party in the sparkling room lavished with beautiful linens and decor from Marianne’s Rentals. The Catering Connection gave the scrumptious dinner a fun island theme and the party was on!

What makes any wedding special is when the couple puts their personal touch on their wedding day and Megann & Troy left a beautiful impression of life, love & laughter on their wedding day.

Exchanging Gifts On Our Wedding Day

Have you thought about exchanging gifts on your wedding day?

Just after Erin slipped into her wedding gown, her Dad came in with a special delivery from her Groom, Matt. As she opened her gift from Matt, there wasn’t a dry eye in the bride’s room filled with girls in pink dresses. Matt received his gift prior to the ceremony as well and was pleasantly surprised. You will have to watch and see how much of his letter he shared with his buddies.


It doesn’t have to be an elaborate gift shared on the wedding day, but you might consider taking time to write down your thoughts on a card to your future wife or husband…it will be a gift she or he will always treasure. It is also a good idea to let your photographer and videographer know so they can capture these special moments giving you the opportunity to see their reaction. There is just something special about expressing your feelings in writing to the one you love on your wedding day. So start writing your wedding day love letter. ~Mark + Trisha

Wishing Monica & Cesar a Happy Wedding Anniversary!

A year ago today we were in Las Vegas to capture Monica & Cesar’s Destination Wedding. It was a great adventure climbing in Red Rock Canyon, filming on the Las Vegas Strip and soaring to their suite on 62nd Floor of The Hotel at Mandalay Bay. Fun Gaillardia Wedding Film Highlight

The Gaillardia Country Club was the OKC wedding venue for Jerry & Christina’s fabulous wedding day. From the fun in the Brides room to the Bride & Groom’s romantic first look, not a detail was missed by Wedding Planner/Designer, Robyn Martin of The Wedding Belle. Umbrellas were hung on the guest’s chairs for the outdoor ceremony, that must have been the trick to hold off the rain. Christina came down an aisle lined with florals and lanterns. The reception decor in ivory & gold was set for an elegant affair. (Check back tomorrow for all the decor details.) The Groom LOVED his San Fransisco Giants ballpark cake by Mishelle Handy Cakes. Family & friends danced the night away to the tunes of Dave & The Wavetones before Jerry & Christina ran through a sea of petals for their departure. Wedding Moments…you don’t want to miss!

When a Bride slips into her wedding dress is one of my favorite moments of the day.
It is a moment worth reliving and one the groom does not get to see.
In the comfort of home, Crystal had such a great time getting ready with her bridal party for her wedding day, while Jesse, her Groom was preparing to meet his Bride. Dad caught his first glimpse of his daughter in her gown just before the first look with her Groom.

On this warm afternoon, things started to heat up just a bit when there was a problem with the air conditioning unit that was to cool the tent for the wedding. One of the groomsmen saved the day by repairing the unit just minutes before guests began arriving. Moments like these happen once in a lifetime, may your family treasure these memories for years to come.
