Disney Fairy Tale Wedding | Jason + Jennifer

Dreams really do come true…

Jennifer, a south Floridian, had dreamed of a Disney Wedding since she was a little girl. When she got engaged, there was no question in her mind, where she would marry Jason, but Walt Disney World.

We met Jennifer at a national video conference in 2009 when she was modeling for Panasonic. At that time Panasonic was using some of our wedding highlights to promote a new camera. So Jennifer had a front row seat to view our films in the Panasonic booth. She asked for our card and quickly replied, “Someday, when I find the one, I am going to have you come and film my wedding.” She even went home and told her friends and family, she was going to bring this couple from Oklahoma to film her wedding someday.(They said she had been talking about us filming her wedding for years, even before she had a boyfriend.)

Well some three years later, within a few days of her proposal, we received an email, saying she had “got the ring”, was getting married and wanted to know of our availability to travel to Orlando to film her dream Disney Wedding. Honestly, I had to think, who is this girl, who “got the ring?” After a phone call, I recalled the conversation and we were booking flights to Orlando.

Wedding-Day-Note-Exchange

It was a true fairy tale wedding. There are so many things I could share, but this story was pretty special. Jason & Jennifer exchanged letters before their ceremony at the Grand Floridian. There was a short, older cast member dressed as a butler who had worked there since Jennifer was a little girl. She had always told him, “one day you are going to help me on my wedding day.” He stayed late that day to assist her in to see her Groom.

Capturing this Fairy Tale Disney Wedding was a great experience, one we will never forget. While working at Disney was uber cool, more importantly were the memories we shared as two families united to make a new one. Jason & Jennifer, may your love continue to grow with each passing year and may all of your dreams come true! Thank You for letting us capture your wedding day! ~Mark + Trisha

La Cantera Destination Wedding | Diana + Jeremy

The Westin La Cantera Resort was a fabulous setting for our Diana & Jeremy’s destination wedding in the Texas Hill Country. Diana and Jeremy value their families and chose to travel from Dallas to San Antonio for a smaller intimate wedding to share their nuptials.

The groom and his groomsmen began their wedding day with some golf on the exquisite Palmer Golf Course at the resort while the Bride & her girls enjoyed some wedding day pampering. Once everyone was ready, Diana & Jeremy shared a sweet first look before their family and bridal party joined them for photos. It was a pleasure working with Dallas Wedding Photographer, Jeremy Gilliam.

Their ceremony was held surrounding a pond in the courtyard, with a beautiful view of the Texas Hill Country. I must say the highlight of the reception was the entertainment…The Spazmatics! It was a great weekend of joining these two families into one and we loved capturing all the special moments. Click play to share in their wedding day!

Diana & Jeremy, we wish you a lifetime of love and happiness! ~Mark + Trisha

Fun Friday In San Antonio, Texas

We have been traveling a bit this week deep in the heart of Texas for a Destination Wedding in San Antonio, Texas.
We thought we would share just a few of the sites we have taken in while in this beautiful city with an amazing American history.

Filming weddings, we always seem to gravitate to old churches and cool architecture. Here are a couple of churches along with a bridge on the top right from the San Antonio, Riverwalk.

Probably the one the popular spots in San Antonio…The Alamo, we just loved the gardens here and the live Oak Trees were amazing.

We made a special trip back to the Riverwalk after dark to see the all the lights.

We soared to the top of the Tower of the Americas in a glass elevator to catch a glimpse of San Antonio’s city lights.  You can enjoy dinner in the restaurant while it rotates a full 180 degrees every hour. We saw some amazing views up there.

San Antonio was having its Fiesta Celebration and we had a great view of the fireworks from the Tower of the Americas.

We have had a great time seeing the sites in San Antonio. Now, it is off to film Diana & Jeremy’s Destination Wedding weekend.

Here is to a grand weekend! ~Mark + Trisha

11.11.11 Texas Wedding Highlight

11.11.11 was a beautiful celebration of love & life for Chris & Tanna’s Texas wedding designed by About Last Night…event planning of OKC. When an OSU grad marries and OU grad, it must be love. They also celebrated life, as Tanna’s father had recently recovered from a bout with cancer and he was very thankful to share in their wedding day. Shades of pale floral arrayed the church & the country club with some bling to give it an extra wow. Tanna’s choice of multiple textured linens & chair covers along with specialty lighting gave each room of the country club its own special ambiance. Surrounded by their family & friends at their reception, everyone enjoyed reliving the day while watching the Wedding Day Edit. The air was a bit brisk as they ran through the tunnel of sparklers departing for the airport to catch a private jet to begin their honeymoon.

It was such a pleasure capturing all these wonderful memories. We pray God’s greatest blessings on these families as they continue on their journey celebrating love & life! ~Mark + Trisha
