We ventured north to find some cooler weather in Wisconsin. And it was much cooler, like 55 degrees. We spent our first night enjoying some sites in Milwaukee’s Historic Third Ward. It is well worth visiting with lots of shops, restaurants, and cool architecture along the waterfront.
A tour boat on the Milwaukee riverwalk.
We popped into the Milwaukee Public Market, to warm up just a bit and enjoy the shopping.
Such a peaceful sight on this cool June evening.
We fell in love with the architechure of the Mitchell Building.
Mark was sure this was straight out of a Batman movie.
Saturday we ventured north to Sheboygan, Wisconsin to meet up with Joel Peregrine of Wedding Films from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to observe him filming a wedding. He has been a great inspiration to us since the early years of our business. It was great to finally meet him in person and see him film a wedding and do a same day edit. Joel is a one man show and it is very impressive to see him do, what we use two people to do. Let’s just say he is very fast on his feet. A big THANK YOU to Joel for allowing us to tag along! You are always welcome to visit us in Oklahoma.
Sunday morning we visited Word of Grace Community Church in Sheboygan Falls, WI with a great friend, Gary Houk. If you live in the area, definetely check them out. We enjoyed lunch with a great view over looking Lake Michigan in Sheboygan and then it was time to head south. Something tells us, Wisconson would be a great retreat when the August heat hits in Oklahoma.
Wishing you an awesome weekend! ~Mark + Trisha
